I photographed my first wedding in 2012. A few hours into that wedding day, I was hooked. I then started an internship with a professional photographer and second shot 30+ weddings for an entire wedding season. Doing so allowed me to build up my portfolio, and I slowly started booking more and more weddings. In 2017, I took a leap of faith and dove into my photography career full-time.
Since then, I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings and traveled the world for weddings, including Italy. It’s not just a job to me, but a part of who I am because I love what I do so much and the opportunities this career has given me.
If you're looking for someone to show up on your wedding day, pose for you for eight hours, and then go home, I'm probably not the photographer for you. However, if you're looking for someone who wants to be your friend, someone to be your hype girl, and is just as excited about your wedding day, count me in.
My photography style is a mix of candid with little direction with an editorial approach. I very much want to photograph a couple as they are. I want to tell your story how it really is. I want to capture the love, the goofiness, the tears, and all the belly laughs. Your story is one of a kind, and I want to help tell it organically. I also want to be sure I edit the images in a natural, true-to-color way. My goal with my editing style is to not look outdated in 5-10 years when my clients look at their images.
After your wedding day is over, the only thing you have are your wedding photos, and I promise to deliver quality images that help you relive that day again and again.
I never want to pose you in some weird way that isn't you. Instead, I give direction and go off the vibe of my clients (friends.) when I deliver your gallery, I want you and those closest to you say, "that is who we/they are to our/their core."
You will never be just a client to me. Throughout the planning process, we spend a lot of time together and communicate about multiple things. A relationship and friendship are built on that trust, creating a comfortable and relaxed experience for all.
