Kayla is absolutely AMAZING! Just look at her photos, they speak for themselves! On top of her photography talent, she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and was so authentic. She was there every step of the way and had an extraordinary local perspective, which was essential for us since we were planning our wedding in Traverse City from New York. During the wedding planning process, she went above and beyond helping me brainstorm the most beautiful northern Michigan backdrops for our first look, assisting with logistics, all the little details for our wedding timeline, and was so quick to respond to emails (even when she started to go into early labor!). On our wedding day, she and her second shooter, Tina, arrived and they were the perfect team. Everything ran so smoothly and they knew exactly what they were doing! It was such a blessing to have them capture our special day! And then you get your pictures and you fall in love all over again. Every special moment is photographed so perfectly and every time I look at my pictures I truly feel like I am reliving our wedding! I could not recommend Kayla highly enough, she is a phenomenal photographer! Thank you so much, Kayla!

Kayla was absolutely phenomenal. Finding a good photographer was something I was very nervous about when planning my wedding because almost everyone I talked to had something negative to say about their wedding photographer even if it was very minor. So that did not sit well with me. I honestly don’t even remember how I stumbled across Kayla’s website but I am so happy that I found her! Her portfolio made me feel all the feels and I don’t think there is one single photo from our wedding that I don’t love. She was so organized and kept my very large/loud/polish family under control during our family portraits. Another one of my concerns was that I wanted to enjoy my wedding and not have a camera in my face all night. At the reception, I did not even notice Kayla or the second photographer at all until she was ready to leave, but we got so many amazing photos without us even knowing! It only is she amazing at what she does but she made me, my husband, and our entire wedding party feel so comfortable. We had so much fun with her! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone and she will be the first person I go to if I ever need a photographer in the future. You will not be disappointed. 500/10 would recommend

Where do I even start?!? Kayla and I met organically while she was visiting / I working at a brewery in Asheville. We started to get to know each other- I mentioned I was planning a wedding and she just so happened to be a wedding photographer (how lucky am I?!). We exchanged info and social media realms, but quickly there after, I knew we were going to friends outside of that. Every encounter with Kayla since then has been the sweetest and most heart felt experience. She has a heart of gold and is filled with love and passion and understanding, which truly reflects in her work. My husband and I could not be happier with our wedding photos. We both feel pretty awkward whenever we take photos together, but that day, Kayla made us feel so very comfortable and natural. She had several spots around our mountain venue picked out that really captured the vibes and elements we were going for. They are all truly magical! Everything was effortless and so easy going, and we have the ever so talented Kayla and the stars aligning to thank for that. From helping me put together the wedding /photo shoot timeline to coordinating plans to our wedding day to now receiving our photos, i could not recommend this special lady enough! We are so for grateful for her and her beautiful talent and work! Thanks again to my sweet friend Kayla. I would give a billion stars if I could!
