Northern Michigan Lakeside Wedding

Jamie and Mikey celebrated with their family and friends at their family’s lake house on Torch Lake, a place that holds many memories for them. They had their first look by the infamous tree where they take family portraits every year and the dreamy ceremony took place on their dock, holding all 125 of their favorite people.

There’s something very special about having your wedding at a location that is meaningful to you. It allows you the opportunity to be that much more in the moment. When you’re in your element, you’re able to relax and feel comfortable. Doing so allowed Jamie and Mikey to enjoy their wedding day and fully embrace all the love that surrounded them.

Jamie and Mikey were incredibly intentional about every big and little detail of their day. The wooden boat getaway immediately following the ceremony allowed them the opportunity to soak in the first sweet moments as a married couple. The clear chiavari chairs were a stunning addition to the ceremony space along with the whimsical floral arrangements lining the aisle. The reception space at a local golf course overlooking Torch was transformed with hanging florals and gorgeous delicate blue details. And last but certainly not least, the after party back at the lake house was accompanied by a local taco truck and a cocktail bar with delicious beverages.
